Below I share some of the life lessons on holistic health that make up some of my philosophy to do the work I do. May it spark conversation and discernment of inner wisdom to nourish, move, connect, and grow your own guiding principles. I envision these pages to continue to fill up and evolve as more life and learning happen.
Growth is a mindset. An attitude for expansion. Stretching your capabilities and increasing your resilience. The more we know, the more we don't understand.
Grow within your body
Your body is miraculous. In the right conditions it can heal itself and get you to places no one has been before. Around 30 years old we need to be stretching, strengthening, and nourishing it or it will ever so slowly fall into being less resilient, strong or mobile.
Grow within your mind
The brain has a capacity for learning throughout our lifetime. The more we use our mind and challenge it with new information, the more durable it is for the longevity and vitality we crave.
Grow within our heart and spirit
Following your heart can leave you heartbroken again and again. The suffering is inevitable and often times necessary to mature and grow into our full spirit while letting go of expectations that aren't from within. It is the only worthwhile venture we have in this lifetime.
Grow with our whole selves
As Brené Brown shares in her work, finding and exploring our whole self is something that is more of a North Star we aim to follow instead of a destination we arrive at. This is a journey best understood closer to its end and most enjoyed fully when connected to our whole self.
